The Alef curriculum is a new curriculum is aligned with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) and standard school learning outcomes. It integrates diverse language teaching methodologies and intercultural elements to support student integration and foster better communication with parents. Structured across six proficiency levels, the curriculum promotes both linguistic development and cultural understanding.
Level 1: (A1.1)
This level includes two books, each comprising 120 pages. The focus is on learning the Arabic alphabet (reading and writing), as well as acquiring basic daily vocabulary and expressions such as greetings, family members, numbers, and more.
Level 2: (A1.2)
This level includes a 200-page textbook focused on accurate verb conjugation in the present tense across a range of subject pronouns. Key thematic units explore school, home and family life, the city, clothing, food, health, and professions
Level 3: (A1.3)
This level includes two books: a 120-page textbook and an 80-page activity book. The primary grammar focus is on possessive pronouns. Students will develop their reading, writing, and sentence-building skills while exploring themes such as date and time, weather, the human body and senses, and traditional Arabic fairy tales.
Level 4: (A2)
This level includes a 120-page textbook and an 80-page activity book. The focus is on mastering verb conjugation in both the past and future tenses across different subject pronouns. Thematic units cover geography and nationalities, hobbies and professions, as well as nature—exploring animals, plants, clothing, the food chain, and selected fairy tales.
